Indications
All indications where compression in the torso area is necessary, such as1:
- Oedema in the torso area / upper body
- Oedema following breast surgery
- Scar tissue
Contraindications
Medical compression clothing may not be worn if the patient has the following conditions:
- advanced peripheral arterial occlusive disease
- decompensated heart diseases (NYHA III + IV)
- septic phlebitis
- Phlegmasia coerulea dolens
